The owl stays up watching cabin specials while you sleep.
How a deal gets listed
A daily fetch reads per-cabin last-minute pages that already list a named cabin, a photo, dates, and a discounted rate. Those cards go in data/cabin-deals.json. Company-wide promos stay in data/deals.v1.json and appear on the company page, never as a fake cabin card. We are not a travel agency.
Confirm it yourself
Rates, blackout dates, and codes move. If the company page and our card disagree, the company page wins.
Sponsored listings
Companies can pay to pin a deal. Those cards get a small Sponsored label and sort above organic cards. Paying does not change the dates we print. Prices are on the Advertise page. No company has paid yet. The short version is on How we make money.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links may later be affiliate links. If a link can earn CabinOwl a commission, we will say so on that card. Today the seed board uses direct company specials URLs.
Photos
Cabin cards use the listing photo the company already publishes, credited on the card. We should ask each company before featuring those photos in a pitch. Stock photos are not used for a specific cabin.
