How we make money

What you pay us

Nothing. We do not take payment for stays, collect a booking fee, or mark up a company’s nightly rate. When you tap a deal, you leave this site and book with the rental company.

What companies can pay us

A rental company can pay to pin a current, dated cabin. That card gets a small Sponsored label and sorts above unpaid cards. Paying does not change the dates or the rate we copy from their listing. Month-to-month prices are on the Advertise page. No company has paid yet. You will not see a Sponsored label on the board today.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links may later be affiliate links. If a link can earn CabinOwl a commission, we will say so on that card. Today the board uses the company’s own cabin listing URL.

What we do not sell

• We do not sell your email.
• We do not accept payment to hide a competitor or to keep an expired stay on the board.
• We do not invent deals. If a specials page does not print dates and terms, we do not list one.

How to read a Sponsored label

It means the company paid for placement, not that the offer is better or worse. Organic cards stay free. Expired stays drop off at the next daily rebuild whether they are sponsored or not.
